The Phoenician Golf Club

Overall Ranking: #17

The Phoenician offers 18 holes of pristine resort golf conditions. The course had a renovation in 2018 and reduced from a 27-hole facility to an 18-hole facility. The renovation worked, as they reduced the number of quirky holes and made new 18 holes a real treat. A Troon managed facility and a 5-star resort guarantee golf travelers from around the world the best service and conditions in the valley. The course itself is still a bit quirky in spots and is relatively short. With, over 12 of the holes look out onto downtown Phoenix and are butted up again Camelback mountain which creates great vistas and a nice desert setting. Furthermore, this course is the closest course to downtown Scottsdale and some of the best restaurants in the valley. The clubhouse is older and needs some re-design, but old school and offer a modest patio for a beer after round. The golf clubhouse is a part of the larger 5-star resort, so feel free to indulge after round and head up to the main resort for dinner and drinks!
